Beds #
The stock Solis 59px has a pretty comfortable Murphy bed and pop-top setup. It is way better than sleeping on the ground. We found that sleeping for more than a few nights, our backs would get pretty soar in the pop top or the Murphy bed. We tried toppers on both beds and it seems to help the pop top bed, but the Murphy bed was still uncomfortable. Recently we replaced the foam inside the mattress with an expensive futon we had around and it seems to be much nicer. Time will tell.
We also extended the Murphy bed into the garage with a couple of brackets attached to the L-track and a few 2x4s. This make the bed almost a king. We use two king pillows along the 2×4’s to make the bed the same height. The topper we use is a king size topper which goes on top of that to make it a uniform bed.
Driver/Passenger Seats #
Initially when we drove the Solis, we thought the front seats were fine, but nothing special. After driving for a few days, we quickly found they were really uncomfortable. We spent some time adjusting the seats and they slowly started to grow on us. After driving for almost 20,000 miles, we are back to finding them “fine”.
Jump Seats #
The rear jump seats are also just “fine”. They don’t recline or move, they are small and really just ok.
